The Caribbean Island
Most International Travelers Overlook
Martinique: the Caribbean island you’ve probably never heard of… yet it hides treasures that rival any world-famous destination.
Across 10 episodes, we travel from the wild north to the turquoise coves of the south, from historic plantations to volcanic peaks, from quiet fishing villages to vibrant coastal towns.
Each film captures a different atmosphere, a different rhythm, a different face of the island.
This series is not a checklist of highlights. It is a structured journey — day after day — designed to understand the island as a whole: its geography, its culture, its contrasts, and its identity.
Ten episodes. One island. A complete exploration of Martinique.
In this first episode of our Martinique series, we begin our journey in the southeast of the island. From the authentic fishing village of Le Vauclin to the paradisiacal beach of Anse Caritan, passing through the historical Val d'Or windmill, we explore a side of Martinique few visitors ever see. While most people think of Jamaica, Cuba or the Bahamas when dreaming of the Caribbean, Martinique remains largely overlooked by the international public. Yet it offers some of the most spectacular natural settings, cultural richness, and authentic experiences in the entire region. We take you with us from dawn to dusk, capturing rare moments in places untouched by mass tourism. We meet local fishermen, discover hidden spots, and follow the rhythms of this volcanic island that is both French and Caribbean, African and European. This series will take you all around Martinique – north to south, east to west – and reveal why this island deserves a place on every traveler’s radar.
